2011 Update – Back in Action

Now that the China work has finished I finally get a chance to get my lift back in order. I’ve had a good chance to get back out on the bike and also take some photos of some recent events.

I was able to race in the 4th Criterium Circuit Race run by South Perth Rouleurs in Technology Park. As this was my first race I only entered in C Grade, but I was happy that I managed to finish 5th. I was then able to grab a few shots of the B and A graders racing.

I also headed down to the Kwinana motorplex for the Top Fuel Dragsters. These are awesome! Until you go there and see for yourself you have no idea what it feels like to have one of those scream past you. The shock just about blew the camera out of my hands…. Go ahead and check out the shots…

Still in China….

So here I am – still floating around in the middle of the South China Sea. I have just started a 3 week swing out here on the Normand Clough. The internet speed is awful (which makes updating this blog very hard) and the weather is just managing to hold off. Lets hope it stays that way for another 2.5 weeks

Welcome to my new site!!!

I finally found time outside of work to finish off the site so that it could be published. It still needs a bit of work but at least it is viewable now. I have also created a dedicated blog site for the WA Yacht Tracker. This is there as one site to showcase all the different yacht tracking sites that have been made…

Anyway, I am off to work all weekend again on this big project we are just completing. I might not get a chance to post much over the next week…. still I only have 4 weeks before I am in Hawaii…

Westender Race 2010

Over the past 2 days I have been flat out programming a new site for the Westender Yacht Race this weekend (run by the Fremantle Yacht Club). I have just uploaded the new site – see this link.

Currently there is no data available (trackers havent been turned on yet). Hopefully when they are turned on tomorrow everything should work fine….

1st Time for Everything…

Well this is my first blog post ever….

I am still applying the finishing touches to my website. I will soon have sections showing the projects I am working on (especially the yacht tracking for the South of Perth Yacht Club). I also endeavor to update this as much as possible – although working 80 hours a week will not help.

Anyway, that’s all for now.
